FOR STUDENT BODY PRESIDENT
My Aggie Story
I am fortunate to have been raised by two Aggies: my dad, class of ‘87, and my mom, class of ‘88. My upbringing reflected the importance of the Aggie core values, especially respect and selfless service. When it came time to apply for college, I knew there was only one place I would feel at home: Aggieland. Attending Fish Camp and Impact Camp affirmed and grew my excitement to start my own Aggie journey. Before I knew it, I was walking into my very first lecture in the Psychology building. My interest in the community was engaged when I heard the professor speak about the potential for psychological health in the Brazos Valley, considering that we unfortunately make up one of the most underserved areas in the state. Consequently, I sought opportunities to serve others in a variety of areas. I am incredibly thankful for those who’ve made great sacrifices so that we would have access to an excellent education and an even better environment for developing character.
